Bar ‘Cino, located at 569 High Street in Westwood, Massachusetts, is proud to announce the success of its recent holiday dessert promotion. From December 9 to December 22, 2024, 50% of all dessert proceeds were pledged to the Westwood Food Pantry.
The community showed incredible support, purchasing a total of 794 desserts and generating a $3,296 donation to the Westwood Food Pantry, making a meaningful impact in the local community during the holiday season.
“We are thrilled by the generosity of our guests and the enthusiasm for this initiative,” said Vadim Matveev, General Manager, Bar ‘Cino Westwood. “This donation is a testament to the power of coming together to support our neighbors. We look forward to continuing our efforts to give back to the community in the year ahead.”
Guests enjoyed a variety of Bar ‘Cino’s desserts including Pistachio Ricotta Cake, Limoncello Mascarpone Cake, Tiramisu, Chocolate Budino Amaretti Tart, and an assortment of Gelato and Affogato. The top three favorites sold in order are: Gelato, Pistachio Ricotta Cake, and Limoncello Mascarpone Cake.
“We are very grateful to Bar ‘Cino for this extremely generous donation and truly appreciate their and our community’s support,” said Stacie Reiser, Executive Director, Westwood Food Pantry. “The Westwood Food Pantry is an all-volunteer, non-profit organization serving approximately 100 families and senior citizens in Westwood. We often hear ‘is there really a need in Westwood?’ The answer is yes, even if that help is only temporary, and particularly now given rapidly rising costs of food and other essentials.”
