Westwood stayed perfect on the young season Wednesday, taking down Bellingham 11-5 at Russel Downes Field behind a strong, complete performance.
 
The Wolverines jumped out early, with Teddy McGowan and Ryan Petres each driving in runs in the first inning. They followed it with a big second, capitalizing on a pair of Bellingham errors before Petres delivered again with an RBI single to extend the lead and seize control.
 
On the mound, Ben Hilton earned the win in relief, turning in four strong innings while allowing just one run and striking out three to close things out. Petres got the start and set the tone, going three innings and limiting damage to just one earned run.
 
At the plate, Westwood was led by a handful of standout performances:
 
Chase Warren went a perfect 3-for-3, scoring twice and swiping two bases. Jonathan Bertone stayed hot with a 3-for-3 day, adding 2 runs and an RBI. Teddy McGowan chipped in with two hits and an RBI. Ryan Petres contributed on both sides, driving in a team-high 2 runs.
 
With the win, the Wolverines move to 4-0 on the season and will hit the road on Monday (4/13) to take on Norton.
