Westwood Boys Lacrosse wrapped up its third and final game of the Chowda Cup on Saturday afternoon, taking on Falmouth at Scituate High School in another strong early-season test.

Falmouth, currently ranked No. 14 in the Boston Globe lacrosse standings, proved to be a formidable opponent.

The Wolverines came out firing, jumping to an early 7–1 lead. Falmouth responded with a surge of its own, rattling off goals to take a 10–8 advantage and swing momentum in its favor.

Westwood didn’t flinch.

The Wolverines regrouped and closed the game on a strong run, pulling away late to secure a thrilling 13–11 victory.

Greg Walsh led the offensive effort with four goals, while Will Stuehler, Liam Williams, Will Sesselman, and Sam Cochran each added two. CJ Hancock chipped in with one goal to round out the scoring.

With the win, Westwood improves to 8–2 on the season and will return home Monday to take on Ashland.
