Kaplan Scores First Varsity Goal in Westwood’s Win Over Norton

Dylan Kaplan scored the first goal of his varsity career as Westwood defeated Norton 5-0 at Flahive Field.
 
Also on the scoreboard Tuesday night were Avik Sittiraju, who scored two goals, Trevor Ferreira and Jacob Daly. Ferreira assisted on two goals, while George Stamatakos and Alexi Michalacos also notched assists.
 
Strong goaltending from Ansh Sittiraju and Caleb Fengler each played one half and shared the shutout honors, with solid defense playing in front of them throughout the night.
 
With the win, Westwood improves to 7-1-4 on the season. The Wolverines will be back in action Thursday, when they face a 9-2-1 Medfield squad on the road.
