Autumn in Westwood brings a feeling of renewal. As the days grow shorter, there’s something energizing about watching the landscape around us transform. The vibrant hues of the leaves remind me of the strength and resilience of our community. We are constantly adapting to change, whether in the seasons or in our own lives. I’m also reminded of the many wonderful people I’ve had the opportunity to meet while working on this magazine — people who embody the spirit of Westwood through their kindness, dedication, and involvement in making our town the special place that it is.
 
With Election Day around the corner, now is the perfect time to take a moment and ensure you’re prepared. Whether it’s registering to vote, researching the candidates’ policies, or reaching out to Town Hall officials about volunteer opportunities, every little bit makes a difference. In previous years, I had the privilege of assisting our town clerk, Dottie Powers, at the polls on Election Day — it’s a rewarding way to get involved and contribute to our nationwide democracy. I encourage you to reach out and see how you, too, can take part in this important civic duty.
