All-Around Performance Powers Westwood to Road Win over Panthers

Westwood Girls Basketball turned in a complete team performance on the road, earning a 46–20 win over Holliston on Monday night.
 
From the opening tip, the Wolverines set the tone on the defensive end, using pressure, rebounding, and energy to control the pace of the game. That defensive intensity fueled the offense and allowed Westwood to build separation early and maintain it throughout.
 
Catherine McMurray led the way with a strong all-around effort, pacing the team on the glass and in the scoring column with 9 points. Bianca Gennari added 8 points, while Sophia Timofeev chipped in 7 and Julie Hogan contributed 6.
 
The GRIT Award was given to the entire team, recognizing a collective effort defined by execution, hustle, and unselfish play on both ends of the floor.
 
With the win, Westwood improves to 6–8 on the season and will be back in action Monday, February 2, on the road against Walpole.
