Sophia Timofeev earned the GRIT award, leading the way with 16 points as Westwood beat Dedham 41-30.
Timofeev was agressive on both ends of the court, powering the Wolverines to a much-needed win. Olivia Shea played phenomenal defense and shut down the Marauders top scorer, while also scoring six points. Lizzie Weeman scored nine in what was a great team win.
The energy was palpable as the Wolverines improved to 7-11. The girls return to action Friday night when they host Ashland at Bader Gymnasium.
