Westwood hit the road for its final Tri-Valley League matchup of the season with one goal left to accomplish — complete an undefeated league slate. Already crowned TVL champions, the Wolverines still had the opportunity to finish a perfect 10-0 while extending their impressive winning streak.

From the opening puck drop, Westwood left little doubt.

The Wolverines controlled play in all three zones and across all three periods, skating away with a commanding 5–0 victory.

Westwood struck first in the opening period when senior captain Fallon Campbell found the back of the net off a feed from sophomore Erin Gannon. The lead doubled later in the period as junior Erin Carolan converted a chance created by sophomore Maggie Ash to give Westwood a 2–0 advantage after one.

The second period belonged to Gannon. The sophomore took matters into her own hands, scoring twice unassisted to stretch the lead to 4–0 and firmly put the game out of reach.

In the third period, eighth-grader Maeve Callahan capped off the scoring, finishing a play set up by senior captain Livvy Hicks to seal the 5–0 win.

Behind the offense stood another dominant defensive effort led by junior goaltender Jennifer Lin, who recorded her 10th shutout in just 19 games — a remarkable mark that places her among the top goaltenders in the state.

With the win, Westwood completed a perfect 10-0 Tri-Valley League season and extended its winning streak to 13 games. The Wolverines now turn their attention to their final regular season test Wednesday at home against Division 1 Hingham in a rematch of December’s 4–1 loss — their only defeat of the season.
