The Westwood Girls Lacrosse team rolled to a 15-6 win over Hopkinton to open the 2026 season.
Cassidy McMillin led the way with seven goals, three draws, three groundballs, and three caused turnovers. Bridget Hughes scored three times while causing three turnovers. Jenny Mackin also scored three goals while winning three draws, while Moira Kenneally stopped seven shots, with two groundballs and six clears.
The Wolverines take their 1-0 record into a key early season matchup with Medfield, set for Thursday, April 2 at Westwood High School.
