Westwood earned its first victory of the season Friday night (and Saturday) with a hard-fought 16-14 win over Medway, and Head Coach Brad Pindel joins us on Inside The Huddle to break down a performance that could provide a major confidence boost as the Wolverines enter TVL Large play.
 
Pindel talks about the relief of finally breaking through, the continued impact of Keilan McDonald, who once again delivered several big plays, and the development of quarterback Chase Warren, who played his best game of the season and made several crucial plays with his legs.
 
Now the attention turns to one of Westwood’s biggest rivals.
 
The Wolverines make the short trip to Norwood on Friday night for the opening game of the TVL Large schedule. This rivalry has swung dramatically in recent years, with Norwood controlling the matchup at times before Westwood exploded for 50 points in last year’s victory.
 
Coach Pindel expects a much different challenge this time around. Norwood brings a physical, downhill style and a team that will be ready for a rivalry game on its home field.
