Inclusive Westwood hosted Westwood’s Third Annual Pride Celebration, recognizing and celebrating the diversity of our community, in partnership with the Westwood Young Women’s Club and the faith communities of First Parish of Westwood, Temple Beth David, and St. John’s Episcopal Church.
The event was filled with fun and offered many meaningful ways for everyone who came out to celebrate. There were so many cool activities to keep attendees busy, like rock painting and bracelet making, which allowed people to get creative and make something special. There was also a “Story Walk,” that brought people together through sharing stories about pride and acceptance.
One person who attended said, “I’m so happy that people are becoming more accepting of queer people; honestly, it’s amazing.”
This really sums up the spirit of the event – it was all about acceptance, love, and coming together as a community. Overall, the Pride Celebration in Westwood was a great reminder of how important it is to celebrate who we are and support each other.
