Walk into the bright yellow building just off the Route 109 exit near Route 128 and you’ll quickly notice something about Dental Arts of Westwood: it’s busy. Really busy.
With multiple floors, a growing team of doctors, and patients moving in and out throughout the day, the practice has become one of the most active dental centers in the region. Behind all that activity is a clear mission shared by the doctors who work there – make dentistry more comfortable, more advanced, and more accessible for patients of all ages.
A big part of that mission today revolves around one of the fastest-growing technologies in modern dentistry: lasers.
“When people hear the word laser, they think science fiction,” says Dr. Dan Kazachkov. “But in dentistry it’s actually about making procedures more precise and far more comfortable for patients.”
Laser technology has been part of Dental Arts of Westwood for years, but recently the practice expanded its capabilities significantly. Today, lasers are used in a wide range of procedures, from treating gum tissue to assisting with orthodontics, aesthetic treatments, and even helping patients suffering from sleep apnea.
