The Westwood Volleyball team won a fifth straight match, knocking off Millis, on the road, in straight sets.
Jillian Aeschliman was named Player of the Game, running the offense with some of the best sets of the season, getting the outside hitters in perfect position for some powerful swings that finished rallies and won points.
Westwood’s 25-9, 25-13, 25-13 win was also highlighted by outstanding performances from Lulu Fenton, who had 14 digs, Veronica Reeves, who had seven kills, and Abby Irwin, who delivered six kills of her own.
Mia Steinmetz had six aces for the Wolverines, who improved to 5-3, and played aggressively from start to finish.
Westwood faces a tough road challenge Friday night, when the Wolverines travel to Canton to face a very talented Bulldogs squad.
