Westwood Squirt AA1 Skates Past Brookline

The Westwood Squirt AA1 team continued its strong start to the season with a convincing 6–2 victory over Brookline Squirt 1. With the win, the Wolverines improve to 3–1 on the season.
 
Leading the offensive charge was Rayne Kim, who has been on a scoring tear to open the year and added to it in style with four goals in the win. Alexander Kaplan and Liam McCabe each found the back of the net as well, giving Westwood a balanced attack that Brookline struggled to contain.
 
Playmaking was equally important in the victory, with Hunter Shooman and Teddy Vozzella setting up scoring chances through smart passes and hustle. On the back end, Taylor MacDonald anchored the defense with strong positioning and timely stops, while Jack DiBenedetto was excellent in net, making key saves to keep Brookline from mounting a comeback.
 
Westwood now turns its focus to its next challenge. Up next, the Wolverines face the Junior Railers on Saturday, September 20, at 11:50 a.m in Hopedale.
